Here are the latest pictures of Lucy. She is getting so big. She loves to try and sit up, but can´t quite do it on her own yet. She is laughing more and more everyday. She loves to be outside and loves when we read to her. Lucy in her new summer dress.

Yesterday was my first Mother's day. Here in Argentina they celebrate Mother's day in October. I felt very blessed to have Luz and be her mother.

Here are the latest pictures of Luz. She is the happiest baby and loves to smile. She has just started laughing, which makes us laugh so hard.

She also is getting very good at playing with things. This is Mr. Spider that hangs from her car seat. She loves to put it in her mouth and look at herself in the mirror.

We wanted to take a couple of pictures of her in her little sweater that Grandma Monica knitted for her.

Lucy is always so sweet right when she wakes up. It is the only time when she lets us hug her for more than one second! "Mi Gordita Linda" as they would say in Argentina.

Donde nos conocimos Melissa y yo?Fue dentro de este lugar. El lugar se llama el Centro de Conferencias de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Ultimos Dias. Fue asi que un dia recibi un emal donde el Fondo Perpetuo buscaba voluntarios para llamara a los participantes de este programa dentro del Centro de Conferencias. Asi fue como me presente como voluntarrio y ahi conoci a mi supervisora: Melissa Spencer. Ella me enseño como utilizar el programa en las PC para hacer esas llamadas. Un dia salimos y despues de eso ustedes ya conocen la historia.

This month has been very fun. We blessed the baby and then Celica from Chile came to meet Lucy. It was so fun having her here.

Beauty hurts.

La belleza duele.

Ayer, Lucy uso por primera vez sus hermosos aritos. Ella comenzo su tarde con un medicameto para amortiguar el dolor por el que mas tarde iba a pasar. Siendo las 7 pm, una enfermera nos estaba esperando en su casa para perforarle las 2 orejitas. No pude resistir ese momento, por lo que tome la determinacion de dejar el cuarto para no ver el dolor en su dulce rostro. Cuando todo termino vi a la nueva Luz hermosa y radiante con sus dos lindos aritos. Definitivamente, la belleza duele, pero los resultados estan a la vista!.

Yesterday Lucy had her ears pierced. We weren´t that mean though. We gave her some tylenol so it wouldn´t hurt so bad. We went to the nurses house who did it for us. She made Cesar and I leave the room so we wouldn´t see her cry. She only did for a minute though. I think it was harder for Cesar than Lucy. Bueaty does hurt, but the results are worth it!!!
